Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton Ruled Out for Bucks' Game Against Thunder
The Milwaukee Bucks have confirmed that star players Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton will not participate in the upcoming game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. This announcement comes as the Bucks prepare to play their second game in as many nights after a loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, marking the beginning of a three-game road trip.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is currently dealing with right patella tendinopathy. This season, he ranks second in the NBA in scoring with an average of 31.8 points per game and fifth in rebounding at 12.2 rebounds per game. Meanwhile, Khris Middleton is being monitored as he manages his return from offseason ankle surgeries.
The Bucks also indicated that forward Bobby Portis is doubtful for the match, while Damian Lillard and Brook Lopez are listed as questionable. Lillard is nursing a sore left groin and Lopez has been dealing with back soreness. Portis has missed the last five games due to personal reasons.
